Application FAQ

Q: How long does an application take to process?
A: If a complete application is submitted, normal turnaround time is approximately 48 hours.

Q: Is the application fee refundable?
A: No. Unfortunately application fees are not refundable.

Q: What can delay the application process?
A: Slow response from employer or past landlord, incomplete documents, failure to remit back up requested.

Q: Is there anything I can do to speed up the application process?
A: Letter of explanations are great. If there is something that may stick out (i.e. new job, moved State’s, etc.) include a letter of explanation to address these concerns.

Q: My landlord is not good at responding, any recommendations?
A: Get a copy of your account ledger, or notate on your bank statement where you paid your rent. This will help us underwrite the file.

Q: What is the holding deposit?
A: The holding deposit is used to hold the secure the property once you are approved.

Q: Is the holding deposit refundable?
A: If you are approved, the holding deposit is applied to your 1st months’ rent. If you are approved and you decide you do not want the property, you lose the holding deposit. If you are declined, you will receive a full refund of the holding deposit within fifteen (15) days.

Q: How does my agent get paid?
A: Your agent must submit a Referral Fee Agreement  and W-9 as well as a copied of the Leased MLS print out to info@assurednv.com. Once these items are received, checks are processed within twenty one (21) days.
